Of Counsel

Anna Ksor Buonya is an experienced U.S. immigration attorney who serves as Of Counsel to Proximate Consult, providing attorney-level legal insight, strategic case guidance, and substantive review across the company's immigration case preparation and legal support services.

Anna brings extensive experience advising Fortune 500 companies, multinational corporations, small and mid-sized businesses, foreign nationals, executives, professionals, and families on complex U.S. immigration matters. Her experience includes Non-Immigrant Visas, PERM labor certification, EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant petitions, Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, and immigration interview preparation.

She began her legal career in refugee advocacy and policy, supporting Montagnard communities and advocating on human rights issues before the U.S. Congress.

Anna's connection to immigration is also personal. She arrived in the United States as a Montagnard refugee and became a U.S. citizen at age 16. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her J.D. from Elon University School of Law.

At Proximate Consult, Anna strengthens the company's attorney-facing production model by bringing experienced legal judgment and strategic oversight to its immigration support work. Her role reinforces Proximate Consult's commitment to delivering accurate, thoughtfully prepared, attorney-ready work product to the law firms it serves.

Anna is multilingual in English, Rade, and Jarai and is also a published children's book author.

Oma Chigozie-Okeke leads business development at Proximate Consult, where she is responsible for strengthening the firm's market presence and building lasting relationships with immigration law firms. She brings structure to the full business development cycle, from prospect identification and outreach through follow-up, relationship management, and client onboarding.

Her work spans sales pipeline management, email marketing, social media strategy, lead nurturing, and partnership development. Oma understands how to move an opportunity forward without losing the personal attention that professional relationships require. She also works closely with the operations team to ensure that the services presented to prospective partner firms align with Proximate Consult's capacity, workflows, and delivery standards.

Oma's background includes nearly three years of pre-litigation personal injury paralegal work and more than seven years as a freelance virtual assistant supporting clients across multiple industries. Her training in electrical and electronics engineering adds a disciplined, systems-focused approach to the way she analyzes processes, organizes information, and solves problems.

At Proximate Consult, Oma keeps the growth pipeline visible, organized, and active. Her combination of commercial judgment, legal-services familiarity, and operational awareness allows her to translate the firm's capabilities into practical support for attorneys who need dependable case-production capacity.

Adeniyi Adetunji, known as Niyi, manages the day-to-day legal operations and case-production workflow at Proximate Consult. He serves as the central link between leadership, intake, case preparation, and quality control, ensuring that assignments move forward, deadlines remain visible, and each matter receives the attention required at every stage of production.

Niyi has developed substantial hands-on knowledge of immigration case preparation through his work on EB-1A, EB-2 National Interest Waiver, O-1, Adjustment of Status, and other employment- and family-based matters. Working within attorney-directed processes and Proximate Consult's established standards, he supports form preparation, document drafting, evidence organization, exhibit assembly, case tracking, and pre-review quality checks. His familiarity with the structure and evidentiary demands of these matters allows him to identify gaps early and keep the production team focused on complete, well-organized work product.

He is equally valued for his operational judgment. Niyi coordinates team priorities, resolves workflow issues, supports team members, and helps translate instructions into clear next steps. His command of the firm's systems, combined with his attention to detail and willingness to take ownership, makes him a trusted right hand to leadership and a dependable point of coordination across the legal division.

Niyi's role is simple in purpose and broad in impact: he keeps the work moving, the team connected, and every case positioned for efficient attorney review.

Utibe Udoh, known as Uti, manages intake and document coordination at Proximate Consult. She supports clients and every member of the internal team by ensuring that information is received, organized, recorded, and routed to the right person at the right time.

Uti oversees intake communications, document collection, file organization, case setup, records maintenance, and administrative follow-through. She works confidently across case-management platforms including Docketwise, MyCase, and Filevine, and quickly learns the systems used by Proximate Consult's partner firms. Her careful approach gives the case-production team a reliable foundation and helps prevent missing documents, unclear handoffs, and avoidable delays.

Her value extends well beyond the first client contact. Uti monitors outstanding items, supports workflow coordination, maintains orderly case records, and remains a dependable resource throughout the life of an assignment. She is known within the team for her responsiveness, patience, and willingness to step in wherever support is needed.

As the organizational anchor behind intake, Uti helps ensure that each matter enters the production process with accurate information, complete documentation, and a clear path forward.
